WALKING IN OUR ROYAL PRIESTHOOD
As a Christian it is important to understand that although our body is still on this Earth, our spirit is present with Yeshua, before Our Father’s Heavenly throne.
1 Peter 2:9-10
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Our Father calls us to worship, praise and pray. We pray or talk to Him as sons and daughters of God, we praise and worship Him with thankful hearts knowing that all we are and all we will ever be, all we have belongs to Him and comes from Him, Our Daddy God.
As kings and queens, we are joint heirs with His Son, our Lord and Savior Yeshua, of His Heavenly Kingdom.
2 Corinthians 8:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
Yeshua left the wealth of Heaven to come to Earth to restore us back to our Heavenly status with God, Our Father.
As priests, we are called to pray and intercede so that Our Father’s will and desires for ourselves and others will be brought to pass on the Earth.
5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Many people have gone to Hell simply because they refuse to forgive, but of course they still want Our Heavenly Father to forgive them. My dear Brothers and Sisters, this simply does not work. Forgive while you still have the opportunity to do so. Tomorrow may be too late.
